Completing your application correctly is an important part of how to apply for a Canadian passport, especially if you plan to work abroad.
- Download the Adult Passport Application form from the Government of Canada website
- Fill out the form carefully. We can help you if you are unsure.
Step 3: Find a Guarantor and 2 References
You’ll need both references and a guarantor to complete your application
- References: Contact information for two people who have known you for at least two years. They cannot be family members or guarantors.
- Guarantors: You need to sign your application, provide one of your passport photos, and provide all copies of supporting documents.
