- Participants must possess at least one year of full-time horticulture or agriculture experience.
Details
- Paid placements guaranteed pre-departure with vetted host families
- 3- 6 month placements with ability to extend stay up to 18 months for an additional cost
- Placement is a full-time schedule, 8 hours a day for 5 days a week, every other weekend off
- Study tours visiting farms and tourist attractions (available in Spring and Fall only)

- Assistance with foreign SIM card, health insurance, tax file number, and bank account setups

Placements
- Agriculture: Dairy, Beef, Pig & Poultry (limited), Sheep, Equine and Mixed Farms
- Horticulture: Vegetables, Flowers, Potted Plants, Fruits, Berries, Open Field and Nursery Plant placements

Not included in program cost:
- Airfare
- Travel and Medical Insurance
- Placements longer than 6 months will be incur an additional cost
Requirements
- Canadian citizen, currently residing in Canada
- Valid Canadian passport
- Bank statement demonstrating proof of cash equal to 15,000 SEK (approx. $2,000 CAD)
- Medical insurance covering healthcare in Sweden for the full length of your stay
- Not accompanied by any dependents –
- One year of practical experience or education in chosen placement field
- Valid driver’s license
- Able and experienced in driving a tractor
- Basic proficiency in English
- Clean criminal record
- In good health mentally, physically, and emotionally
