Join Ola, Elise, and their daughter Molly on their beautiful 155-hectare family-run dairy farm nestled in the scenic Norwegian mountains. This modern farm, equipped with a milking robot and a high-tech stable built in 2018, produces around 500,000 liters of milk each year. Ola and Elise, who met while traveling, love the outdoors and the peaceful rhythm of mountain life. It’s the perfect place to learn about sustainable dairy farming while experiencing the charm of everyday life in rural Norway.

Not included in cost:
Application for Residence permits for work: NOK 6,300 (approximately $840 CAD). You must submit your documents in person at a VFS Application Centre in one of the following locations: Ottawa or Vancouver.
Travel expenses incurred for visit to Application Centre, along with any fees charged by VFS Global.

Requirements
Participant must be willing to learn new things, have good behavior and social skills.
Must be an agriculture student or recent graduate.
Must be a citizen of Canada, residing in Canada.
Between the ages of 18-35
You must sign a declaration that you will take out medical insurance and full hospital insurance before entering Norway.
You must have enough money to live on for the first three months of your stay (NOK 45,507, approximately $6000 CAD). This can be money in the bank and/or a concrete offer of paid work.
