This Agriculture centered program welcomes a new group of working holiday travelers every week! Your adventure begins upon your arrival in Brisbane. Participants arrive in a group and are greeted by the program facilitators and transported to one of Brisbane’s famous hostels where they will stay for the weekend. You’ll receive assistance with sorting all the essentials: bank accounts, tax number, SIM card, and everything else you need to start living and working in Australia with confidence. You’ll get the weekend to explore the city before you and the new crew will head to the training ranch outside the city. Over the next 5 days, you’ll learn about Aussie agriculture, participate in orientation about life and safety in the Outback, and participate in various tasks around the ranch. The placement coordinator will observe your skills and match you with a vetted host in the agriculture industry before the end of the week. Whether you’ve grown up on a farm, have completed agriculture education, or just like to help your friends on their farm, this program will match you with a paid placement that fits your skills and interests.
