What is it that makes Austrian wine so special? Austria has a tradition of wine-making and grapevines that have been cultivated for thousands of years. Combined with ideal geological and climatic elements, the vines enjoy the best conditions for making wines with character and personality. This program offers professional training with the opportunity to experience the whole process, including viticulture management, harvesting grapes, pressing, fermenting, and cellar management in a family environment. Enjoy the Austrian culture and lifestyle, along with a bit of German language, but know that all of our host employers speak English.
